Oven Roasted Glazed Carrots
Do you love sweet buttery glazed carrots, but don’t want to go through the trouble of making a glaze or standing over the stove top cooking them for an extensive period of time?
These no fuss oven roasted glazed carrots take no time at all to prep and come out beautifully every time.
The buttery brown sugar mixture coats the carrots and makes the most delicious glaze as it bubbles and cooks in the oven.
Oven Roasted Glazed carrots make the perfect side dish for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients this dish is extremely cost effective, and a huge tray will easily feed a crowd.
The carrots looks so beautiful when they are finished cooking, your guests will think that you spent much more time making them, than you actually did!
Begin by peeling and slicing 8-10 large carrots. I like to slice mine on an angle as I think they look prettier that way. You can also use a bag of the already peeled mini carrots for this recipe.
Pour the melted butter all over the carrots and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
Sprinkle with the brown sugar and the remaining seasonings. Give everything another little toss and pop the tray into the over at 375 for about an hour. The baking time will vary slightly depending on the size of the carrots. I like to check, and stir the carrots halfway through cooking.
Remove the carrots from the oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving. You can see just how beautifully they turned out. The carrots are glistening with that delicious buttery brown sugar coating.
I like to transfer the carrots to a serving dish and pour any remaining butter from the baking dish over them just before serving.
Enjoy!
