Ingredients
For the Cabbage Steaks
  • 1 Cabbage
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
For the Dijon Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Lite Real Mayo
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
Instructions
For the Cabbage Steaks
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Cut cabbage into thick steak filets.
Add to a roasting dish.
Mix the garlic, butter, Italian seasoning, and salt/pepper.
Spread this mixture on top of the cabbage.
Pop into the oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
For the Dijon Sauce
Mix the above ingredients into a bowl.
Drizzle on top of the steaks or keep in a little dipping bowl on the side.

    Not fussed on Mustard anything else I can do?

      I make these a lot. I use homemade mustard & mayo so it's to my taste. But if you don't like mustard just add a little extra acid in the form of lemon juice, your favorite vinegar, or even a spicy kick from cayenne pepper or hot sauce mixed in.
