Easy Air Fryer Fish Bites

Summer is just around the corner, and all i can think is the great weather, days at the beach and enjoy seafood at it finest. One of my favorite childhood memories, was spending summer at he beach and eating fried fish all the time. I decided to make a lighter version of this meal, so you can try it too.


For this recipe, the flavor bomb will be on the crust that we will use corn fake cereal, for the crispy effect, garlic and seasonings for flavor and nice pieces of mahi-mahi fish.


Let’s ELEVATE fish sticks with more flavor using Brother Bru Bru’s hot sauce, super flavorful and has the right spice level to kick things up. 

Here is the recipe: 

  • 2 pieces of Mahi Mahi fillets 
  • 1/2 cup of corn flakes 
  • 1 garlic clove 
  • Fish Seasonings: salt, pepper, smoked paprika 
  • Lime zest 
  • Spicy sauce: 
  • 2 Tbsp of sour cream 
  • 1 tbsp of Brother Bru Bru’s Latin hot sauce 
  • 1 tsp of lime juice 
  • Lime zest  
  • 1 tsp of chopped fresh cilantro 
  • Salt to taste  



Easy Fish Bites

I love elevating the flavor and kicking these fish bite a notch using a Brother Bru Bru's hot sauce. they have a nice kick without burning your mouth.

The fish pieces and lightly seasoned and coated with the crispy crumbs.

Fast cooked in the air fryer for a crispy layer.

This is a delicious appetizer fish bites or a complete meal served with salad and rice. Let's not forget pickled onions for extra crunch and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of Mahi Mahi fillets 
  • 1/2 cup of corn flakes 
  • 1 garlic clove 
  • Fish Seasonings: salt, pepper, smoked paprika 
  • Lime zest 
  • Spicy sauce: 
  • 2 Tbsp of sour cream 
  • 1 tbsp of Brother Bru Bru’s Latin hot sauce or any spicy sauce of choice
  • 1 tsp of lime juice 
  • Lime zest  
  • 1 tsp of chopped fresh cilantro 
  • Salt to taste  
Instructions

First prep the sauce. In a bowl add the sour cream, Brother Bru Bru’s Latin hot sauce, lime juice and zest, cilantro and salt. Mix well and chill in the fridge.  
Pad dry the fish filets and cut into 4 pieces. Season with salt, pepper & smoked paprika. 
In a food processor add the corn flakes and blend with the garlic glove until desired consistency to make crumbs.  
Drizzle a little of EVOO to coat the fish and then cover with the garlicky crumbs. 
Place the fish sticks/ bites into the air fryer. Lightly coat with avocado spray and cook at 400 degrees for about 9 - 10 minutes flipping half way.  
Serve over the creamy hot sauce, garnish with lime wedge, fresh cilantro and a few dashes of Brother Bru Bru’s Latin hot sauce.
