Roll out crescent dough on a surface and cut along the horizontal line to give you two rectangles, then pinch together the dotted angled cuts.
Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut thin strips about ¼” wide. Using 3 strips wrap up your hot dog. You can wrap with wide gaps all the way up, then fill in a couple spaces as you come back down (note: depending on the size of your hot dog, you may want to use only 2 strips).
Leave adequate space for eyeballs when wrapping, keeping in mind the dough will puff slightly.
