Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
Everyone has a favorite recipe for chocolate chip cookies; they are just such an enjoyable classic. Chocolate chip cookies are one of the first things I learned how to bake, and I still love making them to this day. I am excited to be sharing my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe for you to add your collection! I used this recipe in my Christmas box of cookies this year; along with Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate cookies and Peanut Butter Blossoms. These chocolate chip cookies are thick, soft, and have lots of melted chocolate chips that make them simply irresistible. There is a reason I make these cookies so often; they're just so darn good! To make these cookies even better, I use milk chocolate chips as opposed to semisweet. It gives them an extra touch of sweetness that my family loves. I highly recommend using milk chocolate in these cookies! Pairing these cookies with a nice big glass of milk is our favorite way to enjoy them. Straight off the pan, of course. The cookies themselves come together easily and use basic pantry staples. Butter, flour, sugars, vanilla, eggs and of course chocolate chips are the main components in these. You can have a batch of these done in under 30 minutes! The cookies stay good in a sealed container for a few days on the counter, but I doubt they will last that long! You can also freeze the cookies once baked, but I prefer to freeze the dough if I don't need to whole batch. The cookies made from frozen dough taste just as good as (if not better than) non-frozen dough.
