Banana Bread Mug Cake
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 1 very ripe banana, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk of choice
- 1/3 cup quick oats (this wont turn out the same if you use rolled oats)
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, stir together the mashed banana, egg and milk until combined.
- Stir in the oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into 1 (12 oz) mug.
- Microwave 1- 1.5 minutes (I always do 1 minute first, and check it. It is always better under "bake").
- Eat immediately while it is warm and gooey.
- Top with a dollop of peanut butter for extra deliciousness!
Tips
- **TIP- put a small plate under your mug when you microwave in case it bubbles over! If your mug is too small it will!
