Spiced Molasses Cookies Recipe
If you like your Spiced Molasses Cookies perfectly crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, then this is the recipe for you!
These Spiced Molasses Cookies have been baked every Christmas for the past 20 years. In fact, I can’t imagine celebrating the holidays without several dozen of these treats baked and waiting to be enjoyed.
Do you see those cracks? Those cracks tell you that your Molasses cookie has a crisp, crunchy exterior enveloping the chewy molasses interior, also known as Molasses Cookie Perfection.
If you like a more gingery, lighter and crisper molasses cookie, then check out these Crisp Ginger Molasses Cookies.
Now, before you start making these, I want to tell you one of my favorite useful lifehacks. Before measuring the molasses, coat your measuring spoon with oil which will make the molasses slide right out without leaving any residue on the spoon!
They come together easily and can be mixed and formed into balls and then kept in the refrigerator until you are ready for fresh-from-the-oven heavenly Spiced Molasses Cookies. While we have several family favorites that get made every year, these Molasses Cookies are one that we all agree on.
