Sweet and Savory Chicken Salad on Croissant
I love a good chicken salad on a croissant. Making this recipe I knew I wanted something both sweet and savory. I think I got it right. I added dill and green onions for the savory. For the sweet I added the salad toppings of candied almonds and cranberries. The sauce to bring it all together is a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise, make sure to not use salad dressing. I love to serve it with crackers or on a croissant. I make sure and refrigerate it for a while and it just gets better as it sits. That lets all the flavors come together. I hope you try this recipe and enjoy it. If you do please leave a comment and let me know.

I love your recipe. I have substituted peach Greek yogurt for mayo and simply love it! I'm going to try your suggestion of green onions too! I also peel a red apple, dice that and the mix of flavors is great!
Is miracle whip considered salad dressing? Why couldn't it be used? I use it for everything calling for mayonaise.
