Ingredients
Chicken
  • 1.5 kg chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup tablespoons soy sauce
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
Instructions

1. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 5 minutes.
2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper and smoked paprika to coat evenly.
3. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for 20-25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
4. While the wings are cooking, make the sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Combine all the ingredients and stir until all is combines an the mixture begins to simmer.
5. Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic honey sauce over the wings and toss to coat them evenly in the glaze.
6. Garnish the wings with sesame seeds for extra flavor and texture. Serve immediately and enjoy!
