Balsamic Apple Pork Chops

Pork chops are so underrated. Usually we buy boneless pork chops because of how simple they are to cook and eat. For our Balsamic Apple Pork Chops we decided to get some bone-in pork chops because they usually are thicker and juicier. And we were happily surprised at how much more flavorful the bone-in pork chops really are. Paired with the sweet apples and we were in heaven. Check out how simple this recipe is below and try it for yourself!
Normally when we make pork chops we cook them well with sage and onion, it’s an amazing combination if you haven’t tried it yet. However, we have looked for sage for a month or so now at the grocery store with no luck, so we decided to change it up a little and we came up with this amazing dish! Instead we decided to make the main flavors sweet apples and balsamic. This may become our new pork go-to recipe for an easy week night meal.
For sides to these Balsamic Apple Pork Chops we made roasted brussel sprouts with onion and seasoned well. Then add in the garlic and cheesy mashed potatoes and this meal was the best we’ve made in a while. Mashed potatoes are the perfect addition to any meal but paired with the flavors of the balsamic and the sweet apples my mouth is still watering.
We’ve discussed a lot about how flavorful the bone-in pork chops are but let me remind you that you can definitely make this with boneless pork chops. There is a flavor difference but I can certainly attest to how easy and simple the boneless chops are. But if you have the opportunity and patience, you will be very happy with the bone-in pork chops results.
From our kitchen to yours, cheers!

I’m a pretty good judge of whether I’ll like a recipe by reading the ingredients. This one is going to be a favorite for sure. Love the fact that you season both side of the pork with the fresh rosemary. The combination of ingredients with the apple topping is going to be incredible.
