4 Ingredient Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip

Here’s a quick and easy recipe that can be both an appetizer or a dessert. Perfect for parties! 4 ingredient pumpkin cheesecake dip!
Some friends of ours recently hosted a dinner party, and I was given the option to bring an appetizer or a dessert. I do love to make appetizers and can even make a meal of them. Tapas is my bag, for sure, yet baking is not. I can do it, but I’m not a fan. I started to stress just a little because I was given the choice to make two totally different dishes, and I felt that if I made one and not the other……well, clearly I was overthinking the sitch. Then I had the idea to come up with a recipe that could really work as both, and then the hostess could decide when to serve the dish.
I started thinking about putting together a lovely cheese plate accompanied by a port glaze (I’m going to keep that idea in my wheelhouse), but then my thought process turned to pumpkin. And, as I was short on time, I needed to come up with a recipe that’s quick and easy, which lead me down the dip road.
I started to google pumpkin dip recipes and found a few good ones, like this maple bacon pumpkin dip, and this savory pumpkin dip, but neither one could be dessert option as well. My best bet would be to err on the side of sweet, but not too sweet. And what I made ended up being a huge hit at the dinner party!
Y’all, this is such an easy recipe, takes less than 5 minutes to make, and is totally delicious. It does fall more under the dessert category, as I served ginger cookies along side, but I tell ya, there was not a single drop of dip left.
Room temperature cream cheese, puréed pumpkin, maple syrup and since I had it in my pantry, a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice ( I recommend this one), toss all that in a food processor, and it’s done. Total aside, pumpkin pie spice is also delicious sprinkled over popcorn. You’re welcome.
This pumpkin cheesecake dip is great for parties, as an after dinner treat, and even would be great served on Thanksgiving!
