This is a great recipe to serve at lunch, brunch, or for cocktails with guests. It was super crispy and had a wonderful flavour. This galette was a big hit when I made it recently and it looked really rustic. I probably should have pulled the sides up a bit more to keep the brie from leaking out a bit. I loved the combination of blackberry with balsamic reduction and fresh thyme. If you have never made a galette it is super easy to do and will look impressive. I served it for lunch with a side salad. I hope you enjoy my recipe as much as I did making it.
Brie and Blackberry Galette
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 round 8 oz of Brie
- 1 pint fresh Blackberries
- Drizzle honey
- Drizzle balsamic reduction
- Pinch flaky salt
- 2 sprigs Thyme, fresh
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees follow the instructions on the puff pastry or pie crust packaging.
- Thinly slice the brie.
- Unwrap the puff pastry sheet and place it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Begin to layer the brie slices in the middle of the dough, leaving 2-3 inches around the perimeter.
- Place the blackberries on top and in between the brie slices.
- Fold the edges of the dough slightly over the edges of the filling, encasing all the way around. Drizzle honey and balsamic reduction on top.
- Place thyme and pinch of salt on top of the galette and bake for 22-25 minutes, or according to the puff pastry package instructions.
- If the galette isn't golden brown by 25 minutes of bake time, bump the heat to 400 degrees and cook an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Serve immediately while hot!

I mistakenly deleted your question, Lisa. No, I have only just begun using an air fryer. I will try just the puff pastry first and let you know.
Where do you get the balsamic reduction recipe?
