Mini Lolly Cake Pops
These are a hit for a birthday, baby shower or celebration. Lovely swret treat that looks amazing and can be made to fit the theme too.
Pour some deco melts into a bowl
Place in microwave for 10 second bursts with stirring in between
If it still has some solid pieces, place back in microwave for 10 seconds
You want it to look smooth like this
You'll need a lolly mould, lolly sticks, a craft paintbrush and the melted deco melts
Spoon aome of the deco melt mix into the lolly mould
Use the brush to work the mix up the sides of the mould
Add some more mix to cover the bottom
Use the brush to smooth it out
Place a lolly stick through the mould while still wet
Use the brush to add more mux to the edges to make them thick enough so they won't crack
It will look like this. Allow to set
Slowly and gently slide the lolly stick out
Peel the lolly mould away from the deco melt gently
Use a cakepop mix. You can buy premade fairy cakes and frosting or make your own and mix to paste consistency and spoon into the moulded lolly shape
Add some more and use your finger to gently push it into the mould
Make sure its flat and smooth
Gently slide the lolly stick back into place
Cover the back of the lolly with melted deco melt and use a lolly stick to smooth it out. Allow to set
Melt some white deco melts
Cut a piping bag
Add a nozzle with a small hole
Fill with the white melted deco melts
Twist the piping bag so it stops the melts squeezing out the top of bag
Hold piping bag this way and you will squeeze from where the twist is at top of bag
Pipe design of your choice
Add some sprinkles quickly before it sets
Heres another design with different sprinkles
Heres a tray of them finished. How amazing would these look at any party? And they taste delicious.
