Five Ingredient White Sangria

Having guests for the holidays? Whip up this super simple fruity Five Ingredient White Sangria and make it a party. It's fruity, festive and oh so easy.
If you are like me this holiday season, you are going to have a houseful of family visiting. I think we are having overnight guests for two weeks straight with some swapping out here and there.
I don't plan to be cooking three meals a day every day. I'll make some things ahead and we'll order in a lot. Hey, it's my Christmas break too!
There's something so warm and comforting about being surrounded by family over the holidays. My dad was recently put into a nursing home because he has Alzheimer's. It's been so hard for my mom to be without him and she agreed to pull him out and let him come stay here for a week.
It may be a challenge to take care of him but it wouldn't be the same without him here. Even though he doesn't always remember who we are, I know somewhere deep down inside he feels our love. Don't get me started on what a devastating disease Alzheimer's is...
Having a houseful of guests can be a stressful experience so that's why I have this Five Ingredient White Wine Sangria in my arsenal. It's sangria at it's most simple! I didn't add extra brandy or other liquor because I wanted it to be lighter on the alcohol. Light enough to sip all day ?.
It's just fruit, wine and cranberry juice. So simple and so refreshing. The most important part is to let your fruit marinate in the wine. Wine soaked fruit might be one of the best things ever.
I used no sugar added cranberry juice because I like mine less sweet. You can use sweetened cranberry juice or add a tablespoon or two of maple syrup or honey.
Sangria is so easy to make. I like to mix it all together several hours before the party and let the fruit soak in all the goodness. By the end of the night everyone is fishing out that wine-soaked fruit and it's delicious!
