Ingredients

  • 1 block tofu, drained and cubed
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Maple syrup (to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms (washed and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup french beans
  • 1 cup cooked rice
Instructions

Drain the tofu and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
Heat the sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes to the pan in a single layer. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy on all sides.
While this is cooking, drizzle the washed mushrooms and french beans with olive oil and add on seasonings. Pop these into an air fryer for about 10 minutes at 400F.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the pan. Stir-fry for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Pour in the soy sauce and drizzle with maple syrup to taste. Stir well to coat the tofu evenly and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly caramelize.
Remove from heat and transfer the tofu to a serving dish along with the cooked veggies and a side of rice.
