Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
A quick tasty family meal that will keep everyone satisfied.
This is the ingredients you need for an easy, tasty family meal.
Add pasta and chicken stock cube to a pot of boiling water and simmer on a medium heat until pasta is cooked & then drain.
While the pasta is cooking dice your chicken breasts and add all the seasoning and salt and pepper to your liking. If you don't like to multi task then wait till pasta is cooked before starting this bit.
Give it a good stir so all chicken is coated in the seasonings.
Cook the chicken over a medium heat in a non stick pan for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Once the chicken is cooked transfer to a bowl including any juices they have made. Add a know of garlic butter to the non stick pan you cooked the chicken in and melt on a low heat.
Add your double cream and stir.
Add your cheese and give it a good mix through the creamy sauce.
Pour just the juice from the chicken to add to the sauces flavour & stir.
Pour the sauce into your cooked, drained pasta.
Give it a stir so all pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
Add your cooked chicken and mix through.
There you have your easy creamy pasta for the whole family. You can add some spinach but if you have a fussy family like mine this will be done separately.

- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tsp Garlic granules
- 2 tsp Paprika
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 3 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Chicken stock
- Garlic butter
- 600ml Double cream
- 100 grams Grated parmesan or grana padano cheese
- 400g pasta

- Put pasta & chicken stock cube in a pot of boiling water on medium heat.
- While that's cooking, dice & season your chicken with the seasonings. Add salt and pepper to taste. Give it a good stir to evenly coat chicken.
- Cook the chicken in a non stick pan for 15-20minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
- Remove chicken and juices to a bowl and keep aside.
- Add a know of garlic butter to the same pan the chicken was cooked in and let it melt on a low heat. Add the double cream and Grated cheese and stir.
- Pour the juices from the chicken into the creamy sauce and mix.
- Now pour the sauce over the cooked, drained pasta and mix.
- Add the chicken to the pasta and stir. You can add spinach if you like or do separately if you have a fussy family like mine.
