Honey Pistachio Turkey Meatballs
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 1 Lb of lean organic ground turkey (white meat or dark meat)
- 2 Tbsp of honey
- 1/4 cup of chopped pistachios
- 2-3 Tbsp of Garcia de la Cruz extra virgin olive oil
- Seasonings,
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp of pepper
- 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika
Instructions
- In a bow add the ground turkey and combine with seasonings. Using a cookie scoop, get an amount of the turkey mix to make the meatball. I recommend get your hands wet before working the turkey dough so it does not stick to your hands, or add a drizzle of oil into the hands instead.
- In a hot cast iron pan add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. And cook the meatballs for about 10-12 minutes until they are cooked through.
- Add the chopped pistachios and honey and water to thin out the sauce. Sautee for about 2 minutes and serve!
- Enjoy
