These garlic honey barbecue meatballs are so delicious and really easy to make. Think of it as a sauce you would add to chicken wings, but add to meatballs instead! I typically like to serve these meatballs as an appetizer, but sometimes I do serve them as a meal along with rice and broccoli. All you have to do is form the meatballs, sear them, add the sauce, and then bake in the oven. A crockpot also would work! They are sure to be a crowd pleaser, but if you do have some leftovers, they freeze and reheat really well.

Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/4 cup diced white onion
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- salt & pepper to taste
For the sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 Tbsp mustard
- 2 cloves minced garlic
Instructions
For the meatballs
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix together ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt & pepper until well combined.
- Roll into balls and place in a cast iron skillet.
- Sear meatballs on each side until browned.
- Take the sauce and pour over meatballs.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink.
For the sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, ketchup, honey, mustard, and garlic and set aside.
