How about some last minute- quick touch down Mole meatballs ! 🏈 

If you have 15 minutes try making this easy and tasty Mole meatballs with Ya Oaxaca Mole seasoning! 🏈 These meatballs make a pretty easy and quick appetizer for your next gathering. These are also perfect to make meatball sandwiches or with tortillas for wraps. Or even better yet, turr into a meatball bowl, add some rice, beans the mole meatballs and some pico de gallo. Just delish!


Simple ingredients:  

1 lb of ground turkey  

1/4 cup of sautéed onions 

1/2 teaspoon of salt 

1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 

1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 

1 teaspoon of mole  


The sauteed onions will help keep the meatballs moist and not dry inside, while the mole adds al the flavors.


They cook very fast and easily served as appetizers for your next party. Simply plate them, garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of ground turkey 
  • 1/4 cup of sautéed onions 
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 
  • 1 teaspoon of mole  at Ya Oaxaca black mole
Instructions

In a bow combine all Ingredients, ground turkey and form the meatballs 
Cook in the air fryer at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes or until cooked through. Use a meat thermometer and it should read 165-167 degrees.
Simmering Mole Sauce: 
Into a hot pan ( medium to low heat )add a drizzle of EVOO
Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of mole, 
1 tablespoon of water or broth to thin it out 
Add the meatballs and simmer for about 3 - 5 minutes 
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions
