How to Make Delicious Friendship Tea
Hey Friends!
Welcome! I am so glad that you are here. I always enjoy our time together. As I sit here on a wonderful wintery day, sipping Friendship Tea in front of the fire, I look out at a snow covered landscape and think upon such fond memories of when my mom would make Friendship Tea for us as children. As soon as the weather would turn and the temperature began to fall, my mom would make a huge batch of her famous (well, at least famous to us kids) Spiced Tea. We loved it. Come on, I’ll show you.
Even as I made my cup of tea this morning, the sweet and citrusy tangy tea took me back to yesteryear. Oh, how I loved that smell as a child. My mom recently passed away and as I was going through her things, I came across this recipe. I immediately stuffed it in my pocket as this is a treasure.
This is how my mom always made her recipe cards. She would start with a piece of colored construction paper and a poem. I find the poems so interesting as I look back on her recipes.

This tea is absolutely delicious! Our family always called it Spiced Tea, but my girlfriend recently told me that her family calls it Friendship Tea. I love the name Friendship Tea as it conjures up visions of tea time with friends, and it truly is perfect for a tea party. Even young kids will love it.
