Cheese Danish
This soft, bakery-style cheese danish is the perfect blend of pillowy sweet dough, creamy filling, and a light drizzle of icing. Unlike the crisp puff-pastry version, this danish is made with a fluffy, enriched yeast dough that bakes up tender, airy, and slightly golden on top. Each slice offers a comforting balance of textures: the soft bread-like base, the smooth and tangy cream cheese center, and the subtle crumble of buttery streusel. It has the cozy feel of a breakfast coffee cake but with the classic flavor of a traditional cheese danish. The rich cream cheese filling melts perfectly into the dough as it bakes, creating a luscious stripe of sweetness in every bite. Finished with a simple vanilla icing, this danish is ideal for brunch, holidays, or as a warm homemade treat with tea or coffee. It looks beautiful served in slices and tastes even better fresh out of the oven.
