These little Strawberry Santas are the cutest festive treats to make this holiday season! Each one is made with juicy strawberries, a dollop of cream cheese frosting, and mini chocolate chips to bring Santa to life. The strawberries form Santa’s body and hat, while the fluffy cream cheese filling becomes Santa’s beard, making this such a cute recipe for kids and grown-ups alike.

If you’ve tried any of my other no-bake desserts, like Biscoff Truffles, Dark Chocolate Fudge , Christmas crunch mix or Nutella Strawberries you know I take desserts very seriously. But this Strawberry Santas recipe is even more special, obviously because Christmas is around the corner.

My Strawberry Santas deserve to shine on your holiday table. They’re perfect for school parties, Christmas brunches, cookie platters, and family dinners. And don’t be surprised when these disappear faster than the actual cookies for Santa! The leftover strawberries goes into my Strawberry Chocolate muffins the next day.

These festive Strawberry Santas are a fun and healthy treat you can feel good about serving during the holidays. Made with fresh strawberries and a light cream cheese or Cool Whip filling, they’re sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced. To assemble, simply slice the top of each strawberry to create Santa’s hat, add a swirl of filling for his beard, and finish with a tiny dollop on top for the pom-pom. It’s a simple, no-bake idea that adds a touch of joy to your healthy Christmas spread! Lets see the ingredients below.

  • Fresh Strawberries — Choose large, firm berries so your Strawberry Santas with cream cheese stand straight.
  • Cream Cheese — Full-fat is best for rich and creamy filling. If you want a dairy free option, go for cashew or almond cream cheese.
  • Powdered Sugar — Adds smooth sweetness across the filling. You can use maple syrup, coconut sugar, or erythritol.
  • Vanilla Extract — Enhances the flavor of the filling and compliments the natural sweetness of strawberries. You can substitute with almond extract if you want a nutty flavour.
  • Mini Chocolate Chips — For Santa’s eyes. Substitute with candy eyes if you wish.
  • Red Icing — Optional for Santa’s mouth. You can substitute with sprinkles but I used cookie icing.

Instructions For Strawberry Santas With Cream Cheese Frosting
The bottom and top of the fresh strawberries are sliced.

Slice the leafy tops off each strawberry so they can stand upright in a flat base. Cut the pointed tip off each strawberry to make a small “hat” and set the tops aside.

Cream cheese frosting is mixed and kept in a glass bowl.

In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. You can use a hand mixer or whisk or electric mixer and beat until stiff peaks .

Spoon the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag (pastry bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped). Pipe a small swirl of filling onto the base of each strawberry.

Gently place the strawberry tops back on the cream cheese filling to form Santa’s hat. Add a tiny dot of filling on the tip of each hat for the pom-pom.

Gently press two mini chocolate chips into the cream cheese filling to create Santa’s eyes, giving each one a fun, festive expression. For an extra touch of detail, you can add a tiny dot of red icing to make Santa’s mouth, it’s optional but adds a cute pop of color that kids will love! Once all your Strawberry Santas are assembled, place them on a tray and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to allow the filling to firm up. This helps the frosting hold its shape and keeps everything neat and picture-perfect. Serve them chilled for the best flavor and texture, sweet, creamy, and refreshingly light!

Hint: Make sure your strawberries are completely dry before assembling, any moisture can cause the cream cheese filling to slip, and your cute little Strawberry Santas might lose their hats!

  • Use large, firm strawberries so they stand upright easily when assembling Santa’s body.
  • For a smooth filling, beat the cream cheese until soft before adding powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • Assemble the Santas just before serving for the best texture, or refrigerate for up to 8 hours in advance.
  • Add a tiny dab of frosting on the top of each strawberry to create Santa’s hat pom-pom for a festive touch.
