Sparkling Cherry Lime Mocktail! This crisp and refreshing mocktail features sweet, tart cherries, cherry juice, fresh lime juice and sparkling water.

February is not just the month we celebrate Valentine’s Day, but it is also National Cherry Month. So, what better way to get “two birds with one stone” than to whip up this delicious mocktail. To be completely honest, though, this mocktail is so good that you don’t need a special reason to make it.

Recipe Features:

  • Loaded with lots of cherry goodness – the cherry flavor is the best part!
  • It is low-calorie and contains zero to little sugar (from real fruit juice)
  • Fresh, crisp & delicious – it is perfect to enjoy all year round!

Ingredient Notes For This Sparkling Cherry Lime Mocktail:

  • Frozen Cherries – Pick cherries that are dark, sweet and tart. They make for the best cherry mocktail too. Just muddle them with the lime and cherry juice before adding it to the glass.
  • Cherry Juice – To reinforce the cherry flavor, I do add some unsweetened tart cherry juice, and it makes for a more well rounded beverage. Plus, there are many benefits to cherry juice. (It may help promote better sleep, reduce inflammation and improve brain function. Just a heads up though, people with diabetes or another condition that affects blood sugar, should consult with their doctor before consuming tart cherry juice).
  • Fresh Mint – I love adding fresh garnishes to my drink. The mint is sweet and provides an added boost of freshness. Plus, it pairs really well with cherries. (The 5 oz. containers from the store work great for this recipe, especially if you plan to make multiple drinks).
  • Spindrift Sparkling Water – This brand is fantastic. It is a low calorie sparkling water. And, the best part is, this water does not have a funky aftertaste like a lot of other sparkling waters out there. (FYI: In the video I use La Croix, but the recipe calls for Spindrift. Please read the recipe note below as to why the change).

I sure hope you give this Sparkling Cherry Lime Mocktail a try. It is a very popular recipe. For good reason too. :)

Serve: Garnish with fresh mint and a lime wedge. Enjoy right away!
Tips
  • If possible, use all organic ingredients.
  • NOTE: The brand of sparkling water that I buy now is by Spindrift. They use real fruit and don’t add sugar. One of the main reasons I switched, though, is because La Croix registered pretty high for forever chemicals. And, if I can make changes to better my overall health then that is what I am going to do.
  • Spindrift Flavors: Lime, raspberry, and mint pair very well with cherry. That is why I have specifically chosen these flavors for this recipe. However, if you want to branch out and try other flavors you can. Other flavors that pair well with cherry are: strawberry, peach and lemon. So, there are some additional Spindrift flavors that will work here as well. (Switching from the previous brand to this new brand, there is no major difference in the taste of the mocktail. The Spindrift flavors listed in the recipe are not overpowering in any way, so you still get the delicious cherry flavor to come through. These flavors taste amazing with this recipe).

Why "mocktail?" This would be a delicious Cocktail! Just add vodka.

Something about chunks of stuff in a drink is unappealing to me, so I think I will puree the cherries for a smooth texture.
