This Velveeta mac n cheese recipe is served right away to feed your hungry family. It’s the best macaroni and cheese ever and tastes just like Ree Drummond’s mac and cheese.

This recipe does taste just like Ree Drummonds mac and cheese. I was lucky enough to meet her and eat at her restaurant on a blog trip a few years ago.
- 1 (16 ounces) box of medium pasta shells or elbow macaroni
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 (16 ounces) block of Velvetta cheese, cubed
- 3/4 cup Monterey jack shredded cheese
- 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
- Cooking spray

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) box medium pasta shells
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 (16 ounce) block Velvetta cheese, diced
- 1 cup freshly shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions. Drain well.
- In a large saucepan or dutch oven over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the milk and seasonings, heating until the milk is steamy and hot.
- Add the cheeses into the milk and stir until melted.
- Mix the pasta into the cheese sauce. Serve while hot.

Since there's over 6200 mg of sodium in the Velveeta, the salt & seasoned salt are overkill. Literally.
Try evaporated milk and use "coopers" cheese!!!!! OMG. You will never go back!!!!! Yum, yum. 🍒
