Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups cooked black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions

Blend the Beans: In a blender or food processor, add the cooked black beans and blend until smooth and creamy.
Combine the Wet Ingredients: Add the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil to the bean mixture and blend again until everything is well combined.
Add the Dry Ingredients: Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend once more to create a smooth, creamy batter.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, lift them out using the parchment paper and cut them into squares.
Optional Topping: Dust with powdered sugar before serving for an extra touch of sweetness.
