Of course we all know the famous American pancakes, but did you know that we Dutchies have a similar tasty pancake too called pannenkoeken?
It’s a cross between a French crepe and an American pancake. We love to eat pancakes in The Netherlands. We stuff them with all kind of sweet and savory stuff. Sometimes even a mix!
This is really the best dutch pancake recipe out there! These pancakes turn beautifully golden, stay deliciously soft, but yet slightly crunchy on the sides. The pancakes are easy to make and very, very tasty.
I'm sure you'll love these Dutch pancakes as much as I do!

I have to try these :)
Hooray for Dutch pancakes. I love to add cooked bacon bits and chopped apples, tossed in cinnamon, to the batter. A bit of butter and brown sugar or syrup and I am in heaven. Fond memories of Saturday night dinner as I grew up.
