Golden Milk or Turmeric Tea

While on my quest to learn about fermented beverages I also came across lots talking about golden milk. This turmeric tea is touted to be an inflammation reducer and helps with joint paint which was why I wanted to try it.
These were the ingredients I used for this recipe for turmeric paste; 1/2 cup turmeric, 1 cup water, 1 tsp each cinnamon, ground pepper and ginger. Simmer till paste thickens, store in glass jar in fridge or freeze if not using all in 2 weeks.
I mixed them up in a saucepan till thick.
To make a mug of the golden milk ; add 1 tsp paste to your milk of choice with sweetener of choice (I chose honey) and warm thru; Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.

water and milk kefir as well as kombucha.
