Easy Chai Tea White Russian Cocktail - A Life Unfolding

I love this time of year.
Slowing down a bit and just enjoying this season is what I am looking forward to most these last weeks of the year.
So this weekend, while I am curling up with Brené Browns’ latest book, I will treat myself to some festive, fun cocktails.
This easy Chai Tea White Russian cocktail recipe is perfect!
Easy Chai Tea White Russian
I love coffee liqueur, so White Russians are already a favorite of mine.
If you are a Chai Tea Latte fan, this cocktail may become one of your all-time favorites.
Ingredients
- 8 oz of Vodka
- 4 oz coffee liqueur
- 4 oz half and half
- 4 Chai tea bags
- cinnamon sticks
- star of anise
- Ice
Directions
Add Vodka and tea bags in a pitcher and place them in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Don’t rush the steeping.
The tea needs to step well to infuse the Vodka with all that Chai tea flavor.
Remove the tea bags.
Once the tea is steeped, add the coffee liqueur and half and half.
Stir well.
Add cinnamon stick and anise for garnish
Serve over ice.
Serves 4
Enjoy!!
I love the flavor that the cinnamon and anise garnish give this cocktail.
You could also sub vanilla coffee creamer for the half and half, which gives a slightly sweeter taste- great if you like to drink your coffee with flavored creamer.
That’s it!
I told you it was easy!!
You can Pin it for later.
Now I am off to curl up with that book of mine and maybe wrap a few of the Christmas gifts that are starting to pile up here.
Until next time,
-Libbie

This sounds very yummy! I make my own Kahlua and I live chai tea. I might even try this warm on a cold afternoon! Nap attack, anyone? Haha! Oh, and your little trees are so cute! Did you crochet them? If so, do you have a pattern? Thanks! Happy New Year!
